Speaker Series Launch

Friday, February 27
6:00–8:00 PM
Misión Andrés (Same building as Centro Tepeyac)

Over wine and appetizers, gather with our pro-life community for an evening of reflection and meaningful conversation with Mabel De la llana, Client Advocate at Centro Tepeyac.

While tickets to this event are free, we invite guests to consider a suggested donation of $20 in support of Centro Tepeyac’s mission. Like a cathedral, our work isn’t built all at once — it’s formed stone by stone, carefully and faithfully. A $20 gift doesn’t cover a full advocacy session with a mom, but when joined with others, it helps make that care possible and allows us to fully walk alongside the women and families we serve.

About Mabel De la llana

Mabel De la llana was born in Nicaragua. She has been married for 16 years to her husband Armando, and together they have two children: Juan Diego (14) and Mariana (11).

The family lived for ten years in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, where their son Juan Diego was diagnosed at the age of four with a rare metabolic condition (DLD deficiency) that led to cerebral palsy. This life-changing experience deeply shaped Mabel’s journey and awakened in her a strong calling to serve others, especially in the defense of life and the support of individuals with disabilities.

Mabel currently resides in the United States, where she works as a Client Advocate at the Tepeyac Center, accompanying and supporting women facing emotional vulnerability.

Her commitment to the pro-life mission, particularly in advocacy for children with disabilities, is rooted in both her personal experience and her faith. Mabel believes that the meaning of her son’s name, Juan Diego, and the mission she now carries out at the Tepeyac Center have been spiritually affirmed through the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
