What can I expect?
Your confidential appointment will take 30-45 minutes. Here’s what will happen:
- Arrive at our Silver Spring center (our doorbell is at the back of the building).
- Ring the bell for entry.
- After filling out intake paperwork, one of our trained, bilingual Client Advocates will listen to your situation in a compassionate, caring environment.
- We will verify if you are pregnant with a pregnancy test, and if it is positive, we will equip you with the information you need in order to make a decision about your unplanned pregnancy.
- Leave with clear information about your personal decision and next steps.
You'll need to bring:
- A photo ID—any type is okay. I.e., a passport from your home country, residential, or student ID
- If you know the date of your last period, that is helpful but not required.

Do I need to make an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome. However, it is best to make an appointment to minimize your office wait time. Please call us at (301) 325-8893 or schedule an appointment online.
What do I need to bring with me?
All you need is a photo ID.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes, a friend, partner, or family member is welcome. We will talk with you privately first. Then, provided you have given us consent to have them in the room, your guest will be able to join you.
What if someone calls to see if I was here?
We will never share your information. Even if your boyfriend or parents call to inquire, we follow a strict privacy policy and will not share any details about you being here or your appointment.
Do I have to pay anything?
No. All of our services are free.
